Moonglow at Christmas is a magical place, and I throughly enjoyed getting to be a part of it for the second year! The imagery is lovely and very evocative of the most memorable things about Christmas-- pretty snow, enticing scents, delicious foods, unique and gorgeous decorations, and interactions with other people. This novella is exactly as advertised-- it's a sweet, peaceful, happy trip to a Christmas weekend that is exactly like Christmas weekends ought to be. As with others of her books I've read, Ms. Garner came up with a simple story then added some magic, a little romance, and a surprise twist or two. I loved it!
